This existing building was divided into two separate premises and in an extremely dilapidated condition, without any utility services. The existing flats were unhabitable, especially where poor construction methods were used during a conversion from a hotel into 17 flats.
Bonavia Ltd provided the client with Pre-Construction advice, which involved an extensive strip out and survey works to de-risk the project and gave the client more cost certainty. We provided Cost Plans at each design stage and a Detailed Schedule of Works/Pricing Schedule to facilitate the tendering and the appointment of a Principal Contractor. We are delivering a comprehensive on-site QS service for the duration of the project.
