6 Upper Grosvenor Street

A modern workplace redefined behind a historic façade, this Grade II listed building in the heart of Mayfair has been successfully transformed into the European headquarters for a distinguished California-based client. The project secured planning permission to upgrade and convert the property into a high-specification office environment, while carefully respecting and preserving its architectural heritage.

The completed works comprised extensive external and internal alterations, including the demolition of the existing mansard roof to accommodate a new roof structure and lift shaft, significant basement alterations, and a full internal refurbishment. Particular care was taken to retain and enhance the building’s listed features, resulting in a super prime 7,300 sq ft office space of exceptional quality.

Bonavia Ltd had the privilege of providing full Quantity Surveying services, supporting the project from the earliest stages of pre-construction through to successful completion and handover. Our appointment included the preparation of cost plans at each design stage, a detailed Schedule of Works and Pricing Schedule to facilitate the appointment of the Principal Contractor, and the delivery of a comprehensive on-site QS service throughout the construction phase.
